Mary Nicholas aged 5 unveiling the Euralie School Honour Roll, 1918
 
 
The Euralie Public School Honour Roll was unveiled by Mary McGrath, aged 5 years, on 19th July 1918. The ceremony took place at the school, 15 kilometres from Yass. Mary’s elder brother, Clem, had already been killed. Her other brother, Patrick, was still fighting in France.

Taken on the occasion of the Unveiling of the Euralie World War 1 Honour Roll. The child representing the  Red Cross is Mary McGrath, later Nicholas, with her parents.
