• The same team was ranked first for 2009 with an average fibre diameter of 16.1 micron and a greasy wool weight of 6.1 kg; The Bestwick’s earlier team won the 2007 Trial, cutting 6.4 kilos of 18.7 micron with a 73% yield for a wool value of $48.89 and a body weight of 52,6 kilos and carcass value of $41.89.
• National Merino Bloodlines Comparison ’99 - ’10: of the 46 high accuracy bloodlines, Woolaroo ranked in the top quarter of bloodlines for fibre diameter, clean fleece weight and gross margin per DSE.
